1. What language are you currently teaching?

Currently I am teaching English and Russian.

2. Why did you become interested in the language you teach?

Russian is my native language, but I became interested in English because I wanted to watch and understand movies and series with original sound, without subtitles.

3. What do you like best about the language you teach?

In English, I like the simplicity of the language the most, as well as phrases that I cannot say in any other language. When it comes to Russian, I like the difficulty and the fact that I can use 20 different words to describe one feeling or situation.

4. When did you decide to learn the foreign language you teach?

11 years ago

5. What was your study like?

As in most cases, it all started at school and later at the university and additional language courses. The most important thing for me was to talk as native speakers and learn the correct pronunciation from them.

6. A language that you would like to learn yet?

Spanish, German and French

7. What do you do in your spare time?

I watch a lot of movies, go for long walks, discover new places, travel, cook and go shopping.

8. What’s the most interesting book you’ve read?

John Gray – Men are from Mars, women are from Venus

9. The biggest dream?

I would like to visit every country in the world.

10. Finally, we can be one sentence – what would you say to your current and future students?

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, learn and go on
